Our residential and commercial streets rely on a partnership with professional working men and women who live and work in our communities. These men and women perform the difficult job of keeping our community healthy and clean. Fortunately, those who collect our garbage and recycling in San Francisco have a stake as employee-owners and have supported our communities year over year with quality and pride in their work that good jobs provide.

Recent events, however, have given corporate interests an opportunity to exploit these workers.
